The Steps

Intake & Assessment

This is the onboarding phase. We set the stage with current measurements, targets, and objectives. We introduce you to the modalities we use to communicate and track your progress.

Roadmap Design

Your fitness solution is customized for you. Using the data gathered in the onboarding process, we map out your medium-term plan or "mesocycle" for the next few months, setting you up with your daily assignments.

Execute & Adapt

This is where the rubber meets the road. You will learn the habits and exercises introduced in this mesocycle and track your progress. Progressive overload principles will manifest as steady and measurable wins. Since nothing ever goes perfectly to plan, we remain equipped to help you navigate the unexpected, like an injury that's aggravated by a certain movement.

Finish Mesocycle

The training period will conclude and we will debrief. If you are on a long-term plan, we'll strategize the next mesocycle, setting new goals and targets that build upon the successes of the previous cycle.

Your Trainers

Joe brings 20+ years of experience to the table to include bodybuilding, endurance training, and military prep. His specialty is hypertrophy training, crafting the most efficient programs designed to build muscle reliably. He began personal training to show people what they are capable of achieving with the right guidance, making fitness less of a task and more of a vitality-instilling lifestyle.

On the personal side, he is a father and Navy veteran. In addition to gym time, he enjoys a plethora of outdoor activities such as trail running, fishing, and kayaking. He's a Harley guy that absolutely loves to ride, and also raises big snakes.

Sarah Reintjes-Tolen

With a background in endurance racing, group fitness, and yoga instruction, Sarah brings a diverse skill set to her work. She particularly enjoys assisting clients in overcoming injuries and other obstacles, guiding them towards smarter training methods and empowering them to age with strength and resilience.


Sarah's specialties include triathlon, endurance racing, injury awareness and recovery, group fitness, nutrition, functional fitness for aging populations, and yoga. With her expertise and genuine dedication to her clients, Sarah is driven by helping individuals achieve their fitness goals, lead healthier lives, and have fun doing it. Outside of training Sarah enjoys spending time with her rescued pythons, photography, creating mixed media art, and wildlife conservation trips abroad.
